Consists of an area of south-east Hampshire just to the east of the city of Portsmouth.
The District covers that part of the Borough of Havant to the south and east of the route of the A3(M) and is centered around the town of Havant with adjoining areas of Bedhampton, Leigh Park, Warblington, Emsworth and the holiday resort of Hayling Island . It also includes the village of Rowlands Castle situated in East Hampshire District Council's area.

There are currently 9 Beaver Scout Colonies, 11 Cub Scout Packs, 10 Scout Troops ,
3 Explorer Scout Units , 2 Group Fellowships and a District Scout Fellowship.
